Mitchell + Ness Nostalgia Company

The sporting goods company Mitchell and Ness approached Group M with a seemingly impossible challenge – design a catalog of hundreds of vintage baseball uniform replicas that have not yet been produced. The solution – a large, high production value catalog featuring elaborately styled photography of custom made uniforms mixed with vintage baseball gear and memorabilia, arranged by decade and augmented by illustrations of uniforms to be produced at a future date. This project received several awards, leading to Major League Baseball Properties hiring Group M as image and style consultants. We subsequently produced similar catalogs for the NBA, NFL and NHL.
